For four days, a path made of sand, about a meter and a half wide, grew on the bridge in Písek. Along the entire length of the bridge. For joy. For the people. For a new experience.
"I get it now; it's something like a sandbox, except adults go there too." This is how a five-year-old boy described it to his grandfather. I am joyful. In my beloved Písek, where I used to go visit my great-uncle, the priest Xaver Kobza, I managed to create a kind of promenade made of sand on our oldest bridge. And children and adults can walk barefoot on the sand. And in Písek. Wading through Písek. A feeling like the sea. A new perception of the place. With all senses.
